Missing Stimulus

Here’s a teaser from the Chicago Tribune:

State got billions. Where are the jobs?
The federal government poured more than $6 billion into Illinois in stimulus cash, but the number of jobs created is a bit hazy.

Let’s round up and say the Land of Lincoln is home to 13 million people. That means there was enough “stimulus” spending to send a check for $461 to every man, woman, and child. That means my family is eligible for about $2,300. Miy check must have been lost in the mail. But wait-this was about creating jobs, right?

Funny, I never got one of those, either.
