Lawless?

Forgive me for wondering if President Obama has, shall we say, a loose commitment to following the law. This is not good for the leader of the executive branch of the government, which is tasked with enforcing the law. A federal judge tells the administration it cannot suspend oil drilling in the Gulf of Mexico, but it does so anyway. Another judge says ObamaCare is unconstitutional, but the administration proceeds with this unpopular and damaging piece of partisanship. Now the administration says it will not defend DOMA in court, saying that it is unconstitutional, even though no judge has said so.

We are a nation of laws, not men, Mr. Obama.
