While we don’t yet know how the ObamaCare / Catholic institutions showdown will finally turn out, I think it’s safe to say that the president didn’t back down and attempt to shift the financial responsibility for free birth control, sterilizations and morning after pills to insurance companies because he suddenly remembered a little thing called religious liberty. Mr. Obama backed down because somebody finally stood up to him and said No.
