Loose Lips

Every time the president does something forceful related to national security, his PR machine goes into overdrive. Bin Laden gets shot, and we hear that it was Navy Seal Team 6 that did it, and we even get a name of one of the commanders. Now we are regaled with a New York Times account of Mr. Obama’s weekly “kill meetings,” during which the commander in chief, with top political adviser David Axelrod alongside, decides which global terrorists are next on the presidential hit list.

The American people don’t need all these details, Mr. President (though the terrorists do). Remember the World War II saying, “Loose lips sink ships”? Your administration has a serious case.
