President Civility, who had no problem speaking up immediately after the theater massacre in Aurora, seems to be tongue-tied when it comes to the attempted massacre in the offices of the conservative Family Research Council, which has the bad form to support Chick-fil-A. Perhaps he is distracted by Joe Biden’s race-baiting–which he is also silent about–or by his campaign’s ridiculous calls to see Mitt Romney’s tax returns. I have no doubt that Mr. Obama would quickly find his voice if the latest target were a gay-rights organization. But when the shooter supports gay rights, all you can hear are the crickets chirping.
