Decline and Fall: The Tragedy of Barack Obama

By Michael Knox Beran

How he fell into the tragic error he once deplored.

An interesting psychological analysis of our president, although it is predicated on the assumption that Mr. Obama actually meant what he said back in 2008, an assumption about which I remain skeptical. Mr. Obama then was an ultra-liberal politician skilled in practicing the smash-mouth tactics of Chicago politics, whatever he said to the contrary to get elected; he remains an ultra-liberal from Chicago today–only the mask of reasonableness has been ripped off.
