Less than two weeks before the election, Democrats are twisting Richard Mourdock’s unfortunately worded statement about God’s love even for the children of rape. As I’ve said before, politics ain’t beanbag, and we can expect elements of both sides to do whatever is necessary to win on November 6. But spare me the hand-wringing about how “extreme” the Republicans are on this issue. It’s Barack Obama and the Democrats who support abortion for any reason and at taxpayer expense–which the American people assuredly do not and never have.
