Back when Democrats were screaming that “Bush lied” about WMDs in Iraq, there were unconfirmed reports that Saddam had secretly shipped his chemical and biological weapons to his buddies in Syria, but of course the press didn’t follow up because that didn’t fit the narrative. Well, now we hear that the thugs running Syria may be planning to use chemical weapons against their own people, and that President Obama is warning them of serious consequences if they do. It would be ironic, to say the least, if the Obama-led U.S. were drawn into a military conflict over weapons that “didn’t exist” when George W. Bush was commander in chief.
