Gap

President Obama, not content with policies that have thrown tens of millions out of work and onto the government dole, now proposes to finish the job. He wants to close the “income gap”–which he has only exacerbated the last five years–by “raising the minimum wage.”* Mr. Obama apparently has studied this issue with the same attention to detail that he exercised with regard to the Obamacare website. As everyone knows, raising the minimum wage will help a few people with jobs but cause a far greater number to lose theirs.

If only the president would lose his.

* An obvious ploy to change the subject from the politically toxic Obamacare.
