Barack Obama abandoned Iraq in 2011 when he pulled the last U.S. troops out of the country without a status of forces agreement. And now with the barbarians hammering at the gates, he flies the long-winded John Kerry in to lecture the current government to be more inclusive, all the while proclaiming we will not defend the regime militarily. Sorry, but we lost whatever leverage we had three years ago. In the Middle East, pro-democracy lectures matter for little. Just ask George Bush.
