Drift

If you want to know how far our culture has drifted from its Christian moorings, take a look at the three healthcare professionals who have lied or acted selfishly since contracting Ebola: The nurse in Maine (who is defying a quarantine order and threatening to sue), the doctor in New York (who lied about his whereabouts), and Nancy Snyderman of NBC, who went out for soup in Liberia when she was told to stay indoors. We expect medical pros to act like Christians, that is, by putting the interests of others first. Should we surprised when a secular culture produces secular people?
