Jousting

don quixoteMere weeks after the ISIS massacre, the world’s leaders have gathered in Paris, the scene of the crime. Their stated goal? To “save the planet.” Have they finally committed themselves to act in concert to rid the world of the malignant evil of Islam-inspired terror?

Au contraire. Like Don Quixote jousting at power plants, they have decided to take on “climate change,” claiming this will stop the Islamists in their tracks.

You’ll have to excuse Mr. Obama and his fellow devotees. Whatever you think of the merits of the “global warming” narrative, they clearly are in the grip of a blind religious fanaticism that makes them impervious to reason, proportionality, and common sense.

In this, they are much like ISIS.
