A word to all the evangelicals who supported Donald Trump as “the lesser of two evils,” who said that personal morality no longer matters in a president, and who chose “policy” over character: Thou shalt not gloat.
Remember, evangelicals are on record as all in for Mr. Trump, and there’s not an American anywhere who doesn’t know this. Your reputation is on the line. If he does well, you will get some of the credit. If he does poorly, you will get all of the blame.
Rather than gloating, you’d better be praying. Hard.
