To my liberal / progressive Christian friends:
I’ll freely concede that Donald Trump is a demagogue. But your decision to call Mike Pence a “fascist” is beyond the pale and makes you look unhinged, not to mention ignorant. If Pence is a fascist, then what is Mussolini?
I know passions are running high, and there may come a time when we need to stand together against tyranny, but right now Christ-followers need to be part of the solution, not part of the problem, in our polarized nation.
Character assassination is not Christlike.
