I got two Medicare-related scam calls this morning, on top of two or three more yesterday. They don’t give up easily.
During the first, I told the gal that the “harassing calls” need to stop. After the briefest of pauses, she replied, “I can save you $50….” I hung up before she could finish, saying, “Do not call here again!”
An hour later, a guy called. When I asked him what company he worked for, he answered, “I can’t tell you that.” My reply: “Then why are you calling me? If you don’t stop, I’ll get my lawyer involved.”
Of course, I don’t really “have” a lawyer. Maybe I should just mention that I’m not eligible for Medicare.
