Great news for Wheaton College from yesterday’s annual Giving Day: 1,442 donors contributed a total of $500,203, which is DOUBLE the amount raised last year!
As a Wheaton parent and fan of the school, I’m blown away by the generosity shown by so many in a time of real financial hardship.
While half a million dollars doesn’t come close to covering the huge losses the College has experienced in recent weeks because of the crisis, nor the massive new expenses coming, believe me, it helps. A lot.
