Enemies List

Barack Obama was sold to us as a uniter. The administration, however, has blamed or demonized (or allowed surrogates to blame or demonize) tea-party people, Republicans, Goldman Sachs, BP (“keep our foot on their neck”), George W. Bush, and others. In this, President Obama resembles not FDR, but Richard Nixon, who kept a long enemies list. Would that Obama were more like the Democrat Harry Truman, who famously  said, “The buck stops here.” Instead, he always seems to be saying, “The buck stops there.”
