Beyond Stupid

Yesterday a federal judge struck down the administration’s ban on oil drilling as unjustified. But Team Obama, with its ideological blinders firmly in place, is announcing a new ban today, leading to more misery for Gulf Coast states. This act will punish not only oil companies but the people living there, with no discernible benefit, since the drilling will eventually go on by foreign companies.

I generally believe that if you have to choose between stupid and conspiracy, choose stupid. But the obstinacy of Ken “boot on the neck” Salazar and Barack Obama on things like refusing help from foreign nations and throwing roadblocks in front of states such as Louisiana that want to keep their coasts clean and in business portends something that goes beyond stupid.
