Holy Ground: Walking with Jesus as a former Catholic

Review by Mark Petras

As a former Catholic and now an evangelical pastor, I found Holy Ground a stimulating read. Chris’ humility and humor, coupled with his passion for the gospel, kept me wanting more. He does a thorough comparison of Protestantism and Catholicism, helping the reader to see the history and development of both traditions. Castaldo helps the reader view Catholicism in three helpful profiles: traditional, cultural and evangelical. He also provides practical tips on the dos and don’ts in communicating the gospel to Roman Catholics, which has equipped me with discernment.
