The Four Holy Gospels
Illuminated by Makoto Fujimura
In honor of this year’s 400th anniversary of the King James Version of the Bible, Crossway is publishing The Four Holy Gospels, a sumptuous project illuminated by New York artist Makoto Fujimura. I have seen it, and it is beautiful. (I expect to take delivery of my genuine leather edition any day now.) Fujimura is in the Chicago area this week, and I will be attending a reception for him tonight. The Four Holy Gospels combines the powerful clarity of the ESV translation with the artistry of Fujimura and makes a wonderful gift for any lover of the Word.
