Jobs in Texas

Administration allies are ripping into Gov. Rick Perry’s impressive record as a jobs-creator in Texas. Here are the facts: (1) Over the last five years, more net jobs have been created in Texas than in all other states combined; and (2) since the Obama “recovery” began two years ago, 37 percent of all the jobs created in the U.S. have been in the Lone Star State. President Obama, rather than allowing his minions to attack Perry’s obviously impressive record, ought to thank him. After all, how much worse would the national jobless figures be without Perry and Texas?
