Not Resting

President Obama’s spokesman says our fearless leader “will not rest until everyone who wants a job has a job,” yet he plans to go on (yet another) vacation at the end of the month, this time at a friend’s mansion in tony Martha’s Vineyard. Must be getting worn out from all those fund raisers! I hate to sound jealous, but the guy has taken more vacations this year than my family has had days off. If that’s his definition of “not resting,” then I want some of that. And while he’s cooling his toes in the Atlantic, the rest of us will remain at home, trying to clean up the mess he has made of things. I think Mr. Obama needs to go on a permanent vacation.
