If you want any more evidence that the Democrats just don’t get it when it comes to excessive government spending and meddling, look no further than Kathleen Sibelius’s announcement (in the midst of the debt-ceiling debate) that the unwanted Obamacare is going to mandate “free” pregnancy tests and breast-cancer screenings. Why don’t they just mandate a world free of death and disease? (And why do I suspect that this is really just a goody thrown Planned Parenthood’s way?)
This kind of garbage will continue until the Democrats are thrown out of office. It’s no wonder that Wall Street tanked yesterday, after the half-measure spending deal was signed. Nothing will really change unless and until the ideologue Barack Obama is made a one-term president.
