President Obama apparently hopes to win a second term by engaging in class warfare. Well, it works two ways. The top 1 percent of earners–yes, the “1 percent”!–earn 20 percent of the income but pay 40 percent of the taxes. The top 5 percent pay 80 percent of the taxes (meaning that the bottom 95 percent pay only 20 percent of the taxes). Meanwhile, the bottom 47 percent pay zero. Just who should be upset, anyway?
