Did you notice the president’s rhetoric that the Republicans are “holding a gun to the head of the American people”–after all the lectures about violent rhetoric and guns? Shame on the president. And shame on him as well for lecturing Republicans who want to–gasp!–negotiate some actual spending cuts before giving the president a raising of the debt ceiling. Isn’t Barack Obama the same man who said (when W was president) that increasing the debt limit was irresponsible and showed a lack of leadership? And shame on Mr. Obama for claiming to have cut trillions even while the national debt has gone up by $6 trillion on his watch.
And shame on the American people for returning this bully to office.
