Yawning at Tigers Book Launch

Last night I was privileged to attend (with Christine) a book launch for Yawning at Tigers, by my friend Drew Dyck. The party was at LeaderTreks in Wheaton, next door to the office building where I worked for Jim Reapsome and Evangelical Missions Quarterly so many moons ago. Drew and his wife, Grace, were gracious hosts, and it was fun to see some CT colleagues and begin some new friendships as well (and eat some great snacks!).

Drew read from Yawning at Tigers, reminding us all in a powerful way that God is bigger than anything we can think about Him, and that it is purely by grace that we can know Him at all. None of us was yawning, I’ll tell you! I’m really looking forward to reading this book–we received a free copy last night–and I’ll give you a report when I do.
