Prediction

Last year I made a bold Super Bowl prediction, but the Falcons’ historic collapse kept me from looking prescient. This year, alas, I’ve learned my lesson. I’m going conventional.

Nick Foles has enjoyed a great run, but I just can’t pick him over Tom Brady. Cinderella is going to break her glass slipper on Sunday.

Yes, the Eagles have a good pass rush that should be able to pressure Tom Terrific all game. I believe this will be a low-scoring, defensive contest.

However, Tom Brady and Bill Belichick are just too experienced and too good. If the game is close in the fourth quarter, they’ll find a way.

Patriots 20, Eagles 13.
