Doing It Their Way

Folks, I promise I’m not making this stuff up. A few days ago, Anita Dunn, the White House’s communications director, praised Communist dictator Chairman Mao and Mother Teresa equally for, to paraphrase another philosopher, doing it their way.

What kind of moral relativism would enable Dunn to put Mao, who killed tens of millions of Chinese in his brutal reign of terror, on the same level as a woman who gave India’s dying poor the inestimable gift of human dignity? And what kind of stupidity from a communications director, of all people?

Once again we see the kinds of characters our president has chosen to surround himself with. One wonders what they all say when the cameras aren’t rolling.
