The victory of a Democrat who ran against the Obama agenda in Pennsylvania District 12 could be good news for Republicans, if you stop and think about it. The Democrats can crow now about retaining the largely Democratic district, but the money and manpower they expended in this special election for a supposedly safe seat means they will have to do it all over again in the fall … and they won’t be able to use those resources in tighter races. And if their guy in fact votes with Obama, he will be exposed as just another liberal.
