Digging Deeper

Barack Obama, having already gotten $862 billion in “stimulus” funding supposedly for “shovel-ready” infrastructure projects (precious little of which was actually spent on roads, bridges, and public transit), now says he only needs $50 billion more to “rebuild” our nation’s deteriorating roads, bridges, and public transit, and it’s only those nasty Republicans (who, last time I checked, are still in the minority) keeping us from an economic turnaround. This $50 billion is on top of the tens of billions more he already dumped on public employee unions just a few weeks ago.

This guy hasn’t a clue what to do. With no real-world experience and an animus toward business, his approach seems to be, when facing an economic hole, dig deeper.

November can’t come soon enough.
