Gas

President Obama has stopped oil drilling in the Gulf of Mexico, blocked drilling offshore and in Alaska, refused to lower gas taxes or drop the expensive summer formulations, has devalued the dollar through the Fed’s QE2 policy (jacking up oil and food prices), and apparently has no plan to deal with prices at the pump except to tell hard-pressed citizens to trade in their gas-guzzlers. Yet the oldline media have yet to draw the connection between the president’s actions and $4-plus per gallon of gasoline. That’s OK. I suspect the voters will figure it out by November 2012.
