The Democrats’ and Barack Obama’s big loss in New York’s District 9 is in part a rejection of Obamanomics, for sure. But it is also a rejection of the president’s stiff-arm policy on Israel. (The district is 40 percent Jewish.) That’s not good news for Mr. Obama, who depends on reliable Jewish votes and donations. If the anti-Obama contagion spreads among the Jewish community, he could be in even more trouble in 2012. I think American Jews are starting to wake up.
