Mitt Romney must feel like the nerd who has asked the pretty girl to the high school dance. Like the girl, Republican voters keep telling the former Massachusetts governor that they’ll get back to him. In the meantime, they check out every other candidate, hoping against hope for a better date. So far, no one else has worked out. The way things are going, it looks like Romney is going to show up at our door with the corsage and give us an awkward peck on the cheek.
