President Obama, who didn’t know the mic was on, privately assured Russian President Medvedev that he will be more “flexible” negotiating America’s missile defenses after the election. Keep in mind that it was President Reagan’s commitment to missile defense that was instrumental in pushing the Soviet Union over the edge. Is this willingness to weaken our defenses why Pravda has just given the American president its strong endorsement? Whose team is the President on? I wouldn’t be trumpeting that endorsement too loudly if I were Team Obama.
Pravda and the President
