President Obama says the “private sector is doing fine” and the economy is headed “in the right direction.” Really? Perhaps that’s why San Bernardino, California, declared bankruptcy (joining neighbor Stockton), and Joe Biden’s own Scranton, Pennsylvania, has decided it can only afford to pay public sector employees minimum wage. Meanwhile, Chicago, headed by Mr. Obama’s ex-chief of staff, is engulfed in a wave of gang-related murder and mayhem.
Headed in the right direction? Only if you like the feeling of falling off a cliff.
