Last night, Christine and I attended the CareNet DuPage annual banquet, held at Drury Lane in Oak Brook. Lots of friends were there. CareNet provides compassionate, targeted help to women facing crisis, their children, and their families, with positive effects that touch multiple generations.
We heard from President Barbara Singer about CareNet’s goals and many accomplishments, as well as my colleague, keynoter Eric Metaxas, who reminded us that the Christian worldview changes everything when it comes to defending vulnerable human beings. Eric also signed copies of his latest book: 7 Men and the Secret of their Greatness. A great evening!
