Though I admire Kim Davis for her courage and commitment to Judeo-Christian morality–which is very clear what marriage is and is not–we are no longer a nation based on Christian values. (The Supreme Court has taken care of that.) Therefore, she should, as a government official sworn to uphold the law, honorably resign. However, what is happening to Kim Davis and others like her is, in the true sense of the words, a national shame.
FYI: Three years ago, Barack Obama opposed same-sex marriage.
