Why I Voted for Ted Cruz

To my friends in Wheaton and in Illinois:

16536540067_c42bf9085a_nThis morning I voted proudly for Ted Cruz for president. While two of the remaining Republican candidates would be acceptable to me, Ted has a powerful track record of defending the Constitution, the dignity of human life, and religious liberty; opposing Obamacare and illegal executive actions; and standing with American allies such as Israel.

Ted has battled the corruption in Washington coming from the Democrats AND the Republicans when it would have been much easier to just go along. Unlike some, he is brilliant, temperate, and principled.

He is also a man who loves Jesus.

Ted has at least one other important attribute:

He is the only Republican who can defeat Donald Trump.
