Whining

donkey hoteyBillionaire businessman Donald Trump’s whining about the “unfariness” of the delegate selection process is, if you’ll pardon the pun, rich. The putative author of The Art of the Deal is getting out-hustled, outmaneuvered, and outstrategized by Ted Cruz, who according to Trump has no skills, temperament, or experience whatsoever to be president.

It’s clear, however, Cruz knows the rules better than the lazy Trump team and is using them to his advantage, something that Trump has prided himself on doing over his long and (mostly) successful career in business. Instead of complaining, Trump better get to work. If the great deal-maker can’t beat Ted Cruz now, why should anyone expect him to beat Vladimir Putin–or Harry Reid, for that matter–later?

There’s no whining in politics.
